The idea locksmith Worcester Park is to pull enough of the two wires through the hole, then strip a bit of the insulation back, and short them out, which effectively 'resets' the code, allowing you to programme your own in.
Though not strictly a bypass, another useful tip to remember is if the batteries are on the inside on the Safe, and dead, sometimes using a hair dryer on the outside of the door will heat them up enough to give them a boost sufficient enough to open the door once the correct code is entered. An external battery pack will also work, if you 'fish' for the battery wires, but again make sure you know what you're doing. There is probably a load more that I've forgotten to put, but that gives you an idea of how to go about it. Let´s say the batteries are fully drained (placed on the inside) and the secondary lock is not pickable due to some reason, then it would be a great idea concentrating on the solenoid with those methods you have described. Maybe a good idea to have a powerful electromagnet in the gear box. We at the locksmith Worcester Park were working on a project and had lent a powerful magnet from a supplier. I was wondering when the damn thing arrived in the mail why on earth a tiny magnet (about LxWxH = 45mm x30mm x10mm) was shipped in a box witch was more than 10 times bigger.
I surely found out later when I tested it on a file cabinet. The force was so strong that it almost pulled me out of the chair and the magnet did indeed get stuck on the cabinet and stayed there throughout the project thus we were unable to remove it without destroying it. As far as I remember the supplier got mad because this monster magnet was quite expensive ;-) I know what you mean by "putting hands up" and believe me some of the magnets I have come across with, could crush your hand (at least the fingers) :-) I vote for electromagnet with on/off button instead. I’ve had a couple where people have lost keys and then tried to force it open with the plastic handle and then bust that too. In which case you can drill a small hole in the frame edge and put some bolt pressure on with some bent wire.
Another small hole just to the left of the lock cylinder and another wire to press the little springy flap down. Good morning all. I have a customer with a locked safe he is unable to open. It is a Stark N3853 -electronic digital keypad with cruciform key in case of emergency. There is no handle to operate the bolt work as it is motorised. The customer at our locksmith Worcester Park store opened the safe with the key then locked it - now it will not open. I have tried using a hairdryer to no effect and banging it, but it is securely bolted down and I am guessing that as the bolt work is motorised hitting it will not work. |
